Lasell’s Annual Fall Open House happened on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025. This event is hosted once a year for prospective students and their families to learn about all Lasell has to offer. Blue Key Society (BKS) staff arrive for work at 7:30 a.m. to begin to set up the Athletic Center and guide guests through parking and check-in.
President Eric Turner offered welcoming remarks before Fashion Professor and Lasell 2016 alumna Rosemary Leger shared a moving speech on her experience at Lasell and what she hoped would become “our Lasell.” Afterward, Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management Christopher Grey concluded the session with closing remarks, sending families and prospective students off to their first information sessions of the day.
Throughout the morning, BKS members escorted attendees to a variety of academic sessions, ranging from fashion to forensic science. From there, ambassadors were given tasks across campus, including running housing tours, leading campus tours, informing prospective students and their families about specific areas of campus, and more.

Olivia Post, who is part of the Blue Key Society leadership team events committee, said, “I am so thankful to have had Jacob and Robin with me this year because they were both integral to the planning and execution of this event. We spent a lot of time preparing so that the day would run as smoothly as possible, and it did. Admissions Event days are one of my favorite parts of being in the Blue Key Society and on the Leadership Team. They are definitely a rewarding experience.”
Assistant Director of Admissions Operations Grace Barton, who worked closely with BKS staff, praised the team’s dedication. “BKS is the foundation and spirit of Fall Open House. They did such an incredible job working together to make the day run smoothly and also bring so much excitement and connection for the prospective families coming to visit.”
Guests visited residence halls across campus and participated in both traditional and accessibility-focused tours. Lunch was provided in the athletic center and consisted of sandwiches, salads, and soups for all to enjoy while mingling with staff members, professors, and BKS student workers.
Office and Visit Coordinator Tony Percuoco said, “Overall, the event went off without a hitch. The BKS are the backbone of this event, and the BKS did an amazing job making guests feel welcome.”
For senior BKS Ambassador Jonah Rubin-Salzberger, this year’s Fall Open House was a little more meaningful. “It was one of the best Fall Open Houses. It was really cool seeing the new students and seeing a new perspective on Lasell as I prepare to leave.”
BKS and admissions staff worked tirelessly to ensure the Fall Open House was a success, and will do the same for the Spring Open House next semester.
